Its share capital currently comprises 4,704,996,485 ordinary shares traded on the Spanish Stock Market (Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia) and on those in London, Tokyo, New York, Lima, Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
The Fundación ONCE's mission is four-fold:
- 1.- Achieving the full integration and normalisation of the disabled in Spanish and European society.
2.- Helping to improve the quality of life of the disabled through the development of work integration,training and employment programmes.
3.- Seeking global accessibility -understood as more than just the elimination of architectural barriers for people with limited mobility- by incorporating the viewpoints of Global Accessibility, Design for All and Self-Sufficiency.
4.- Achieving effective equal opportunities to make the integration of the disabled into society a reality. At least sixty per cent of the Fundación ONCE's resources are allocated to promoting stable employment and training for the disabled, while the remaining per cent is dedicated to programmes designed to achieve full accessibility.
